Adam Lambert in his own words: Life, Love, American Idol

He’s a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School, a youthful veteran of San Diego area theater companies and, oh yes, the hugely popular runner-up in “American Idol’s” Season 8.

And this Saturday, American Idol’s 2009 Summer Tour takes Adam Lambert to the San Diego Sports Arena. The concert, which stars the top 10 finalists, including winner Kris Allen, is part of a coast-to-coast North American tour of approximately 50 cities, ranging from Los Angeles and Little Rock to Baltimore and Boston.

Adam’s many fans, called Glamberts, know that in addition to being a remarkable talent, Adam is bright and thoughtful, with a winning ability to avoid taking himself too seriously.
