Adam Lambert sings "Feeling Good" during Rat Pack Week

The song's connection to the Rat Pack was a 1966 cover by Sammy Davis Jr.. Two versions appeared on platinum-certified albums in 2005: one by jazz singer Michael Bublé (It's Time) and one by the Pussycat Dolls (PCD). Perhaps the most well-known adaptation belongs to soul goddess Nina Simone on her album I Put a Spell on You.

But the arrangement Adam Lambert selected for the American Idol performance comes by way of the British alt-rock group Muse, whose organ-driven take on "Feeling Good" appeared on their 2001 album Origin of Symmetry.
