
The figures are in! Idol Gives Back was wildly successful this year, raising over $45 Million for charities in the United States and around the world. The charities that benefited from this annual event included Feeding America, Children's Health Fund, Malaria No More, Save the Children and The United Nations Fund.
This year, American Idol allowed groups to be formed to raise money in their favorite Idol's name. The only teams to raise over one thousand dollars for Idol Gives Back 2010 were the teams in honor of Adam Lambert
Second place winner Adam Lambert from American Idol Season 8 had the most charitable fans by far, raising a whooping $14,800. The only Season 9 contestant to pass the thousand dollar mark was Top 6 finalist Siobhan Magnus with $4,700.
